I have been feeling so many of these things lately, and I've been rather absent because I tend to crawl into a hole when I have a lot on my mind and plate. But it's the friendships I have all over the internet and world that keep me going each day. My favorite part of the day is sitting down in the morning with my coffee and going through my Google reader and Flickr contacts. Before the internet, I think I felt like the only person in the world who deal with depression, because no one I knew in real life had issues with it. Once I started blogging, I realized that I'm not alone. And I was able to face it and deal with it. Today, I am completely honored and amazed that I am grouped in with some seriously amazing bloggers and photographers. Thank YOU for that. You have no idea how much I needed this right now. You are amazing, as well. I hope you know that. XO What a beautiful post. Kirsten, I love how you say "maybe even the deep dark side that hides most of the time". Honestly, I love that part too. I love when people are being their true selves, and it is interesting that we feel safer with strangers than with people in the real world. I have learned so much about myself and others by reading blogs and writing them.
