Today my students told me that most Americans are sheep.

And that they, our university elite, are content to be sheep.
I think I have been sufficiently frightened to last me through Halloween.

So contentment with following the herd with no thoughts about where it might lead? Really. I think I might be sufficiently scared through Halloween 2010. Is this a product of our education system? “Tell me what I need to know to pass the test, so I can pass the test and move on to the next thing I am told I need to do” ?? That makes my stomach sink.
Some of us, yes. It takes a strong person not to be.
