Before this week’s You Capture challenge, I’d never really given much thought to just how big of a role lines play in our lives. They form everything from architecture

to texture

to protection or it’s silent cousin, isolation.

Whether you’re standing (im)patiently in one

or coloring outside them,
they provide the structure for order and disorder alike.
It just depends on how you choose to write the lines
in the story of your life.
Sorry the pictures are kind of crappy this week. Life got ahead of me and I had to pull this one together at the last minute. But you can find more – and better ones – at Beth’s website, I Should Be Folding Laundry, in this week’s You Capture challenge.

It’s all about the small things sometimes.
This is fun. Love the shoes! You can tell which one is impatient…
Cool! Glad the shoe idea worked. I planned to take a picture of actual people standing in a line, but since I’m a procrastinator I had to improvise!
I love the photos- finding lines in the every day! The shoe shot is great!

Wow. You did a great job! This was very creative and wonderful. I loved it!
Love the details. And the pictures may not be your best, but they are hardly crappy. Especially since they are poignant!
Love the commentary… excellent job!!
I love your words along with the photos.
Thanks everyone!!
Love how you put it all together.
Great job.
