It’s so true: good things come when you least expect it. Overwhelmed with the stuff I need to accomplish, and underwhelmed by my ability to accomplish them, lately I have been feeling frazzled and strung out. But this morning, for several reasons, proves excellent. One of those reasons was in receiving accolades from a fellow blogger, writer, and truth seeker of a life more extraordinary.
Cynthia, of Running With Letters, has awarded me:I am honored to have received such an award from someone so thoughtful, and so full full of grace and wit. In return for such an honor, I would like to share the love with a few other bloggers I’ve recently discovered who inspire me through their sensitivity, self-reflection, and humor.
An Apple A Day: for her gorgeous imagery and words.
Hooking Up Smart: for her thoughtful commentary on today’s life and culture, and her sensitivity towards the plight of young people finding something real to hold on to.
Mulatto Diaries: for her grace in navigating the sometimes treacherous road of living a multi-racial, multi-cultural life, and finding universal truth along the way.
Smitten Design: for her ability to find the beauty in the sometimes most unlikely of places.
Stop, Drop, and Blog: for her bravery in being the foundation, the safe haven, for heroes selflessly risking their own lives to help others.
Thank you to all of you, for all that you do.
